How can educators\, artists\, journalists\, youth workers and civic leaders h elp rebuild trust and strengthen democratic resilience?\n\nThe Eastern Eur opean Network for Citizenship Education (EENCE) and Democratic Initiatives Incubator invite applications for the Regional Dialogue Academy "Dialogue for Resilience" - an international learning programme that brings togethe r professionals from across the Eastern Partnership region and diaspora co mmunities to explore new approaches to dialogue\, civic education and comm unity resilience.\n\nFrom 22 to 26 September 2026\, around 30 participants will gather in Vilnius\, Lithuania\, to learn from experienced facilitato rs\, exchange practices with colleagues from different countries and devel op practical ideas that can strengthen democratic participation in their o wn communities.\n\nThe Academy is more than a training course. It is a spa ce for reflection\, experimentation and collaboration with people who beli eve that dialogue remains one of the strongest tools for building resilien t and democratic societies.\n\nWhat to expect\n\nOver three intensive trai ning days participants will explore how dialogue can become a practical re sponse to today's social and political challenges.\n\nTogether we will exa mine:\n\n facilitating dialogue in divided and polarised communities\;\n trauma-sensitive approaches to education and community work\;\n democrat ic resilience and civic participation\;\n memory\, identity and difficult conversations\;\n inclusion\, diversity and social cohesion\;\n counter ing disinformation through civic education\;\n designing participatory le arning experiences.\n\nThe programme combines interactive workshops\, faci litated dialogue\, practical exercises\, peer learning and collaborative d esign sessions that allow participants to immediately apply new approaches to their own professional contexts.\n\nBeyond the Academy\n\nLearning wil l not end in Vilnius. Following the programme\, participants will continue working together through National Dialogue Labs - local educational\, cul tural and civic initiatives that bring dialogue into schools\, communities \, organisations and public spaces across the Eastern Partnership region.\ n\nThroughout the Academy\, participants will develop initial concepts for these initiatives\, receive methodological support from the project team and become part of a growing regional network committed to strengthening d emocratic resilience through education and dialogue.\n\nWho should apply?\ n\nWe are looking for people who already work with communities and believe in the transformative power of dialogue.\n\nWe welcome applications from: \n\n educators and teachers\;\n youth workers\;\n civil society practit ioners\;\n artists and cultural practitioners\;\n journalists and media professionals\;\n researchers\;\n community leaders\;\n representatives of public institutions\;\n facilitators and other professionals working in civic education and democratic participation.\n\nApplications are open to professionals based in Armenia\, Azerbaijan\, Georgia\, Moldova\, Ukrai ne\, Germany\, Poland and Lithuania.\n\nWe also encourage applications fro m professionals from the Eastern Partnership countries who are currently l iving elsewhere in Europe but continue working to strengthen citizenship e ducation in their home countries or communities.\n\nPrevious experience wi th the EENCE network is welcome but not required.\n\nPractical information \n\nLocation: Vilnius\, Lithuania\n\nDates: 22-26 September 2026\n\n 22 S eptember - arrival\n 23-25 September - academy programme\n 26 September - departure\n\nWorking languages: English and Russian.\n\nParticipants sho uld be able to actively participate in at least one of these languages.
